Stafford Cheese, Ale and More Festival 2016

 

 

The Stafford Cheese, Ale and More Festival will take place in the beautiful Market Square, in the heart of the County Town, on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May 2016.

 

Cheese makers, breweries and local food producers will fill the Market Square in Stafford, with a fantastic range of products and a fine array of artisan food, as the county town hosts the 2016 Stafford Cheese, Ale and More Festival. The event proved a huge success in 2015 attracting tens of thousands of people to the town prompting organisers to add an extra day as it returns for a third year.

 

New events include the opportunity to take Afternoon Tea (tickets must be booked in advanced), and the now sold out Stafford Gin Jamboree. Members of the Staffordshire Chefs Forum will be getting the crowd's taste buds going with cookery demonstrations and some lucky audience members will get the chance to join in The Great Chef's Challenge.

 

2016 festival goers will be able to enjoy an alfresco bar and more stands, music, street theatre and events than ever before.

Stafford Gin Jamboree - Sold Out

7.00pm Doors open, the Gin & Tonic starts to flow, the music starts to play……..oh! and don’t forget to buy your vouchers and to pay a visit to the Distillers stand to sample the new mixes.
 

9.00-9.30pm Jambalaya supper is served from the hugest pan you’ve ever seen, with a good hunk of focaccia (don’t worry there’s a veggie version and one without the seafoody bits if you prefer) A great time to ‘take-stock’ before re-joining the celebration.
 

10pm-11pm DJ up’s the tempo for the final hour..


11pm The Gin stops flowing, the bartenders pack up, so it’s time to make a safe journey home.
    

Cookery Demonstrations & Great Chef's Challenge

The Great Stafford Cooking Show will take place in the Market Square cookery theatre with a packed programme of demonstrations taking place throughout the day.
