About Us
Love at First Bite is located on Crabbery Street and is run by Tina Soden, who began running a successful wedding and celebration cake baking business at the age of 20 above her parents’ popular bakery in Princes Street before moving into her current shop.
Tina is the daughter of Diane and Graham Kelly, who run the La Patisserie bakery in Stafford. After many years of learning from her parents and their friends, Tina, who began making her own cakes at just 13 years old, has successfully surpassed them to become an expert in her own right. She said “I have worked at my parents’ bakery since I was little. I am very experienced and have trained with some of the best cake decorators in England. The shop will be totally open plan so everyone will see me decorating their cakes. I love what I do, it’s the best job in the world and I have always dreamed of having my own cake shop. When I saw the shop was available I just thought I’m going to do it”.
