Fancy a day in Stafford stuffed with free digital training? On Thursday 24th May, for one day only, Microsoft will be offering just that at Shire Hall between 10am and 4pm.
Microsoft want to make sure everybody has the basic online skills they need ready for tomorrow’s digital advances. In particular they want to nurture a passion for computer science in young people.
Their programme is suitable for all ages, from 7 upwards. There will be sessions to interest students, parents, teachers, council officers, charities and business owners.
For 11–14 year olds there’s ‘Maker of Change: Make your school road safer with coding’. Discover how technology can be used for good, from improving road safety to helping somebody with a disability.
How apprenticeships work is covered in a couple of sessions by Microsoft Learning Providers.
For anyone working in the Public Sector, business or for a charity there are sessions which cover the Cloud, and LinkedIn.
Follow this link for the full details and registration form. Note, although the sessions are free, you will need to register to be eligible to attend.
