To ensure your night ends safely Stafford Town Centre has a Street Pastor and Taxi Marshall Scheme operating on the busy nights. Street Pastors are volunteers that have been trained in drug, alcohol, and other social issues to ensure they can help vulnerable people during a night out, whilst in liaison with the Police, CCTV control, and town centre venues. Taxi Marshalls operate on Bridge Street to encourage responsible drinking and taxi safety; the stewards are on hand to prevent anti-social behaviour, ensure an orderly queue is maintained, and to make sure potential passengers know the cost of their journey home. |
