Victoria Park is the green lung of Stafford Town Centre, it is a Green Flag award winning park situated on the banks of the River Sow adjacent the Railway Station. The park has many features of great value to the local natural and built environmental. Facilities include aviaries and a glasshouse full of exotic plants; a bandstand and bowling green; recently renovated junior and toddler play areas; and much more.

St Chads Church

ST CHADS CHURCH

For well over 800 years, St Chad’s Church has occupied a prime position on Stafford’s high street. Behind what seems to be a largely Victorian exterior there lies a rich heritage of twelfth-century architecture and sculpture that place St Chad’s amongst the finest examples of Norman architecture in the Midlands. St Chads’s continues today as an active church, offering a distinctive style of traditional worship which complements the ethos of the building.
